TELUGU DEPARTMENT 

Telugu is one of the Dravidian Language which was hailed as " Desha Bhasalandhu Telugu lessa" by Sri Krishna Devaraya.It has been praised as the Italian of the east. It is the official language of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.Telugu is the only Ajantha Basha.Every word of it ends with an vowel sound.

The Department of telugu is functional since the inception of the college in 1982 and affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. based on the strenght of students on rolls, two posts are sanctioned and two regular lecturers are working. Besides teaching and learning activities of telugu, The Department of telugu extends its service to the curricular, co-curricular, Extracurricular, institutional administrative and extension activities of the institution.
