PROFILE :

                       The Dept of Physical Education started in the year 1982 in this college . The Dept function in the ground Floor of the Science Block in the college campus . The college games & sports teams participated in the various tournaments  & selection trails under the auspices of the Andhra University  Visakhapatnam. The Department is also proud to have organized various tournaments which is not only improve the sporting talent of the students but also help  the students to improve upon their organization and leader ship qualities.

The Department of physical education organized coaching camps in the college campus for talented sports persons and sent the players to participate in the coaching camps conducted by the Andhra University and  other recognized  sports bodies. We provide playing materials and uniforms to the players selected to represent the college team .There is a multipurpose play ground on the college campus for Cricket, Football, Volleyball , Ball badminton, and Athletic events. Modern facilities for physical conditioning are available at Gym along with multi stationary gym equipment .We also provide facilities for chess and caroms ,both intramural and extramural competitions are planned in such a way that students are able to participate regularly in games & sports activities throughout  the year. Approximately 10 teams both men & women participate in the tournaments organized by the Andhra University.

The college is affiliated to the Andhra University and the college teams participate in the University Intercollegiate tournaments and selection trails.
